I spent this past weekend hanging out with bikers, polo bikers that is. Yes, there is such a sport and yes, it is much more popular then you think. Especially here in Europe. I watched the 2012 German Qualifiers for the 2012 European Bike Polo Championship which will be held later this summer. 14 Teams of 3 players participated in a weekend event in Geißen, Germany, a small city just North of Frankfurt. I loved hanging around and photographing the colourful and creative guys and there bikes. It really made me want to get on the saddle again and ride.
