Bavarian Spring – May 2012

A sunny Spring has come here to Munich, bringing with it everything in every colour. The city has really come alive in the last month transforming every place I am used to into fuller, greener and livelier spaces.  And for the past 12 days I became “Andrea the Bavaria Tour Guide” to my mom Rita and my aunt Maggie, showing them as much as I could in the time they had here. From Radlers to Rosenheimerstrasse we saw it all. We also made a few day trips including  Dachau’s WWII concentration camp, the lovely Starnberger See, the impressive Neuschwanstein Castle (although under major construction) and to Vienna, Austria. We had amazing warm and sunny weather the entire trip, much to my mother’s delight.  I can not wait to explore even more of this magical land throughout the Spring and Summer. Enjoy the photos and thanks so much to Mum and Maggie for visiting! I miss you already :)
