This Winter, I knew I needed to go to the snow.
I feel it calling me, because in the city that I live in, it just doesn’t stay on the ground for more than a few hours at a time. And this blue and white sparkling wonderland brings me such a sense of calm, peace, tranquility and happiness. I absolutely fell in love with this mountain area, and the sunrise every morning that greeted me while there.
I was in this area twice ( shown in the following images )
Once on Dec. 16th from 12 noon – 12 midnight. It was a full day full moon afare. A true adventure with snowy mountain slides, wrong turns, hungry bellies, tears of joy, and fear, as well as a midnight glittery down the mountain group sled. Thanks Team for this day :)
And then, I was there once again for a 3 night stay in mid-February. Perfectly after a fresh 20 cm snowfall with 4 full days of sunshine on the forecast. We got very very lucky …. It was such a dream weekend that I do not have much else to say to describe it. I’ll just let you look at the images instead.
Below you will see photos of the Schliersee, the Brecherspitz Peak, the Bodenschneidhaus, and a lot of snowy mountain hangs around this area. A huge thanks to Nadine & Detlef for hosting us in their Winter Wonderland. We will be back!
