The Alps – July 2013

For me, most days pass without a lot of thought or excitement. Bike to work, eat, bike home, eat, feel annoyed that I spent 8 hours of such a beautiful summer days indoors. But then, there are those rare days, and for me it usually involves getting out of the city, that I feel so blessed to live where I do. The beautiful  Alpine Mountains are less then  an hours drive outside of the city I currently call home. And although I love Munich, its culture, and its people very much. It is the countryside here that makes me relax and feel completely happy. I guess its because I came from the country, although this landscape is a much much different from the one in South-Western Ontario. People come to Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Italy from all over the world to hike, bike and enjoy the magnificent views that these countries have to offer. And to think I can take my Saturday off and enjoy it all in one short drive, yes, it really does blow my mind. Below you will find images of the Wilder Kaiser Mountain area in Austria. Thank you Alps. You have no idea what you do for me.

My approach to photography is simple and pure. I use only natural light to create an image; and work hard to develop an artistic photo, whether it be for a client or as a self project. I do not care about staging shots, excessive make up, and set ups. I capture what is there, with love for that special moment. With an advanced diploma in photography from Canada, I choose to follow my dream to work as a freelance photographer. With over 10 years in experience, I can capture your special moments, smiling faces, products or food in a simplistic, colourful and uncomplicated way. I photograph with my heart and believe in sustainability, conscious consumption and responsibility. When you book a photography session, purchase an image, or participate in a workshop or retreat, you are supporting social organizations and projects. I run my small business on green electricity, all print material is climate-neutral and supports other charitable projects for people and the environment. This is a very important concept for me to follow. Every daily decision and choice we make, has the potential to create a cleaner and happier community and world. If you are interested in purchasing fine art photographs or my cookbook, hoping to have images taken or just want to connect, I am happy to make a new friend.
